BIOMECHANICS OF A GENTLE BIRTH

The classes are a comprehensive method of body and sensory preparation for childbirth. Based on anatomical and physiological knowledge, will increase your confidence, becoming secure and confident as you navigate through the many challenges towards your birthing process.

Labour has your pelvis and the baby as protagonists. When coming out, the baby's head will be tailored by the bones of the pelvis. which have certain mobility. This will be one of our tools to help the baby in its travel out towards the birth canal. As someone pregnant, an intimate understanding of the anatomy of your pelvis will give you focus and security at the time of your childbirth, facilitating the passage to your baby, hooking up deep, relieving your contractions.

It is a very rewarding program, which prevents back pain, pubalgia, pain in the sacroiliacs joint, and all the hassles column and extremities face throughout the pregnancy.

The main benefit of each position is to facilitate a route out in addition to improving flexibility, strength, and range of motion, providing stability and mobility.  By practicing effective posture and alignment and having an in depth awareness of one's body.  There will be emphasis and attention made on the perineum, as well as in facilitating an optimal breath flow as a way of relieving pain.

I will encourage you to trust your body and support you as you become aware of your body's possibilities and needs. Having the personal tools for you to utilize during your childbirth, will help you to confront any challenges with certainty, safety, and enjoyment. I want you to be the protagonist of your labour and have the most positive experience. I hope this awakening not only installs during pregnancy, but it will extend and last in all facets of your life beyond your childbirth.

.The idea of freedom of movement in childbirth, is just that, freedom to move, no obligation. You will have many desires of being still and feel the inner movement of your baby.

There are some pelvic postures freer than others. Try them during the pregnancy will make them use it in birth intuitively, finding those that soothe you more the contractions. There are an infinite number of variations and little subtleties for you to try. So looking for asymmetries in the legs, producing internal or external rotation, rocking, or translations of leg weights are all important in making you as comfortable as possible as your body goes through this transformative process
